Donald Trump Leads Hillary Clinton For First Time Since May

For the very first time since may, Trump has overpowered Clinton in the recent poll with a very close margin which closes the gap between them. Clinton’s email controversy has certainly affected her voter base leading to this sudden loss of popularity. Washington Post poll showed the Republican leading his rival Hillary Clinton with 46-45 percent margin.


She is bearing the consequences of the gaffe happened during the time of her tenure as secretary of state. She herself agreed to the blunder and called it a stupidity to use a private server for official reasons.



Before this poll, Clinton was ahead of his Rival in many polls which made her a clear choice of the voters. But the FBI investigation against her worked effectually for trump’s favor.


Al Jazeera’s Rosiland Jordan, reporting from Washington, DC, said Comey’s announcement was likely to improve Trump’s standing in the election.

In Florida, an NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist University survey shows a deadlock between the candidates – with Clinton at 45 percent and Trump at 44 percent, a one-point drop for Clinton since the same polls last results in early October, when Clinton led 46 per cent to 44 per cent. “He’s in a tough spot, and he’s the one who will be in a position to defend his actions in the face of significant criticism from a variety of legal experts, including individuals who served in senior Department of Justice positions in administrations led by presidents in both parties”.

Mrs. Clinton’s email use has been one of the biggest weaknesses for her campaign for the presidential elections this year. Moreover, Republicans have vowed that even if she wins the elections they’ll follow the issue to bring out the truth about the scam , promising continuing investigations into the matter.


“It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election,” said her campaign chair John Podesta.
