The actor has fully supported Bernie Sander earlier in his campaign but he asked people to support the ideas of democrats

“Ultimately, we Democrats know that a bit of a tussle isn’t a bad thing — it makes us stronger. Keeps us sharp,” he said in the video posted on facebook.

Continuing he said, “And really, it’s like a family squabble, where only family — those very close to us — can truly get under our skin. But remember this, too: it’s precisely because we like and respect each other that the words and criticisms sting as much as they do.”

The video was released just after then day when Clinton counted victories in four out of five primaries over Bernie Sanders.

The idea of the video was to support democrats Sanders and Clinton over the republicans.

In the video, he was quoted as saying that both candidates Clinton and Sanders agree on issues like womens’ reproductive health, LGBT rights advocacy, separation of church and state and supporting the Affordable Care Act. Recalling Sanders’ statement last number that said that if Clinton won the general election, she would be “an infinitely better candidate and President than the Republican candidate on his best day.”

He urges people to believe what Sanders quoted about Clinton.

He was asked by one of his fan about being the vice president. He refuted the fan’s suggestion with sarcasm and said the position wouldn’t give him “as much time for cat memes. Nevertheless the actor and activist Takei has been a keen supporter of Bernie Sanders since the initiation of the campaign.
