Sanders’ Campaign Shifts Venue Away From Trump Event Across Street

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ campaign venue was shifted for its Milwaukee rally. It was scheduled to take place on Monday evening across the street from Donald Trump’s rally which was scheduled for the same time.

Trump’s rally was scheduled at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, home of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks. However, Sanders’ rally was scheduled across the street at the Milwaukee Theatre.

Late Monday morning, however, it was announced that the event would take place at the Wisconsin Convention Center, now formally known as the Frontier Airlines Center. It is a city block from the previous location.

The event scheduled for the Wisconsin Convention Center will feature music from The Summer Set, 3OH!3 and Space Raft. Actor Mehcad Brooks will also be present at the event to support Sanders.

Actress Tessa Thompson was previously listed to appear at the Sanders’ campaign rally; however, her name was not mentioned in the latest announcement.

No comment has been made by any spokesperson for the Sanders’ campaign.
