In a recent case, a woman killed a man over a trivial persona argument. An altercation between a man and a woman led to the man dying when the woman allegedly ran over with her vehicle. Police have reportedly taken the woman into legal custody and is behind bars.
According to a Covington Police Department report, the incident occurred about 11 a.m. Sunday. The man and woman got into an argument inside a residence on Harmony Place, and it continued outside as well and grew far more violent. According to the preliminary investigations, It seems like they both were acquaintances and had a cordial relationship before the Sunday incident that has shaken both the families. The exact reason for the murder has not been known until now.
The woman has been identified as 21-year-old T’keyuh Williams of a Wellington Ridge address, apparently, she got into her vehicle and may have attempted to leave after they fought inside the house for more than an hour verbally. The intensity of the fight grew more and the woman tried to leave the place but in a fit of rage, she decided to kill the man who came to stop her.
According to the police, The man, identified as Aquavias Cole of a Waterford Road address, was apparently standing in front of her car, and Williams allegedly struck him with it, killing him. Paramedics were called and he was declared dead at the scene.
She then tried to run away from the crime scene after killing the man and ramming her car into another one. An eyewitness who was passing by caught her and detained her until the police arrived and arrested the reckless driver. She has been arrested by the police and was charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, reckless conduct and reckless driving.
